The only constant is change...

Last weekend’s blizzard and a good percentage of January bringing us frigid temperatures was a reminder that we are still deep in Winter. In years past, I think many of us welcomed the opportunity to cozy up inside with books and movies and indoor hobbies, but the continuing strain of the pandemic has made what was once a comfortable hibernation period an ongoing way of life. It’s been challenging at times to find creative ways to keep active.  It's not unusual to experience a decrease in energy or dip in your mood, but if you find yourself unable to pull out of that after a day or two, let's talk about some ideas to get you feeling better.

How did your New Year's intentions, goals, and resolutions survive the first month?  If it's a slow start, no worries - there are still 11 months left! 

The sun is rising earlier and setting later, giving us a few more minutes of daylight each day.  Remember to make time each day for fresh air, movement, and social connections.  Taking care of the basics makes managing life's twists and turns a bit easier.

As a reminder, I will be taking a few days off beginning February 11 through February 16.  If our standing session time will be impacted, we'll talk in the next week about making adjustments for those dates.  I will be checking messages daily and responding as quickly as possible.  I will change my settings to Vacation mode, which enables you to request credit for times I am not available to meet.
