January 2022

🐰🐰 Welcome 2022!

"I think it would be more sensible if resolutions began generally on January the second." - Helen Fielding

β€œResolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the wrong. Sometime in life you will have been all of these.” ― quote attributed to any of the following: Gautama Buddha, Walter Scott, Lloyd Shearer, George Washington Carver, Dale Turner, Ann Landers, Bob Goddard, Anonymous (a great reminder to sign your work!)

The only constant is change...

We're starting the first page of the book of 2022.  We've talked for a few months about building on the momentum of your progress in 2021 and setting intentions and goals for the new year.  While we can't predict what the year will bring, we can make certain that we are healthy and prepared with skills and resources to thrive in any situation.

My grandfather had a medallion on his desk that said "Health, Wealth, and Happiness - and Time to Enjoy Them."  That is my wish for you as we enter this new year.

Quick housekeeping items:

  • If you will be unable to keep a scheduled appointment time, please cancel / let me know with as much notice as possible so the time can be made available for someone else.  This time of year is especially hectic, so let me know if you need a different time and I will accommodate you whenever possible.

  • If you are thinking about taking a break or finishing up our work together, please let me know so we can close out our work together in a planful way.

  • Reminder:  Your BetterHelp subscription includes access to Groupinars and the journal feature.  These are nice tools to supplement our work between sessions.
